The Essence Music Festival is one of the biggest events of the year and is known as “THE PARTY WITH A PURPOSE”. Join The Travel C.A.F.E. for the largest annual African American event and gathering of musical talent in the world.

This festival offers free Empowerment Seminars during the day at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and exciting music performances at night at the Mercedes Benz Superdome.

We are NOT affiliated with ESSENCE MAGAZINE or the producers or event coordinators of ESSENCE FEST.

You should only buy concert tickets and party passes from reliable ticket sources such as TicketMaster or Essence Fest and/or its distributors.

Please note the AC Hotel New Orleans Bourbon only have one king accommodations; the Residence Inn Marriott French Quarter has two queen bed accommodations. Please note this when booking triple or quad occupancy.

Hotel Industry standards may require a credit card charge upon checking into your room for incidentals. You and your roommates should discuss this before checking in. You should also use a credit card as oppose to a debit card. Cash can also be submitted. Please contact the hotel for more on their incidental policy.

Our Private Meet & Greet will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020. Location and time will be forwarded to you 30 days before the event.

Reservation Policies

  • You are required to register your name as it appears on your State Identification or Passport along with your date of birth when making your reservation.  

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • ​All travelers who are rooming together are required to make their initial deposit together.  A double, triple or quad occupancy will have up to seven (7) days from the date of the lead passenger deposit to make his/her deposit.

  • Name changes or additions are allowed at the discretion of the hotel.  Name changes are subject to cancellation charges and any rate increases.  There is a $100 Revision fee for any corrections involving names.

  • Please adhere to the Monthly Payment Schedule. Monthly payments can be made to secure your reservation. It's recommended that you make your payments on the scheduled due date.  The hotel does not grant extensions for the final payment due date.

  • ​All guest(s) on the reservation must be up to date with his/her payments.  

  • Late payments after the due date will be assessed a $50.00 per person late fee.

  • Please contact Peace of Mind Travel Services of missed payment or cancellation in writing.  If no contact is made within 60 days of the missed payment, Peace of Mind Travel Services will assume that you have canceled your reservation and no refunds will be issued.

  • If cancellation occurs and the occupancy of the room falls below the initial occupancy, payments must be paid to satisfy the adjusted room rate.  Any new guest added to reservation will have to make all scheduled payments up to date and will be charged a Revision Fee of $25.00 per change.

  • Cancelled reservations will incur a per person cancellation fee per the Terms and Conditions of Peace of Mind Travel Services plus any cancellation fees per the Cancellation Guidelines of the hotel brand.

  • Refunds will not be given due to roommate abandonment. Please ensure your roommate has made his/her reservations and are making timely payments as required.

  • Name changes are available on your reservations until May 1, 2020.

  • No payments will be accepted after May 1, 2020.

  • If you select the auto bill plan and later cancel this plan you are responsible for making timely payments on your reservations according to the billing plan on your account. If you should go more than 60 days without any payment whatsoever, your reservations may automatically cancel without notice
